Board the luxurious Premier Class train, tuck into a sumptuous, tried-and-tested South African Railways dinner and enjoy a bottle of fine Cape Wine.
Get lulled to sleep by the clickety-clack of the train wheels.
Awake refreshed, enjoy a famous, good old fashioned, traditional, can't-be-beaten South African breakfast on board before disembarking at Durban station.
Hire a car and drive up here.
On Sunday night, return your car to the hire company at Pietermaritzburg station, board the train for yet another marvellous journey and arrive in Johannesburg after breakfast. Then go to work, ready to take on the whole world!
Pleasant Places Country Guest House is situated on a quiet country road that comes to a dead end at a farm about 4km further up the hill.
